WCC 심사 스킬 프로그램은 월드 커피 챔피언십(World Coffee Championships, WCC)의 심사 과정과 평가 시스템을 이해하고, WCC 공식 심사위원으로 나아가기 위한 첫걸음을 지원하는 교육 과정입니다.

WCC에 대한 전반적인 이해를 갖추고, 심사 스킬 & 대회 심사 방식에 대해 학습할 수 있습니다.
이 프로그램은 SCA 최신 연구 내용을 바탕으로 구성되었으며, WCC 규정 및 규칙, 그리고 커피 가치 평가(Coffee Value Assessment) 시스템의 논리를 반영하여 기획되어진 프로그램입니다.

Designed for those looking to learn more about the World Coffee Championships and begin their journey towards becoming a World Coffee Championships (WCC) Certified Judge.

Following the training, attendees can expect to leave with an understanding of the WCCs while developing their judging skills and learning how competitions are scored. The training program was formed to align with the Specialty Coffee Association's most up-to-date research, including incorporating the latest WCC Rules & Regulations, and logic from the Coffee Value Assessment system.

WCC Judge Skills Program은 월드 커피 챔피언십(World Coffee Championships, WCC)의 심사 과정과 평가 시스템을 이해하고, WCC 공식 심사위원으로 나아가기 위한 첫걸음을 지원하는 교육 과정입니다.

이 프로그램을 통해 참가자는 아래와 같은 교육을 받게 됩니다.

• WCC 대회의 심사 기준 및 평가 방식 & 평가 시스템

• SCA 최신 연구 및 WCC 심사 규정

• Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) 시스템 기반의 평가 훈련

WCC 심사위원이 되고 싶거나, 심사 시스템을 깊이 이해하고 싶은 분들에게 추천하는 과정입니다. 또한, WCC 대회 심사 기준을 깊이 이해하고자 하는 선수(Competitor) 및 WCC에 관심 있는 모든 분들에게도 유익한 교육이 될 것입니다. *내셔널 대회와의 이해관계 충돌 사항 없음.

The WCC Judge Skills Program is an educational course designed to help you understand the judging process and scoring system of the World Coffee Championships (WCC), serving as the first step toward becoming an WCC Certified judge.

Through this program, participants will receive training in the following areas:

• Judging criteria, scoring methods, and evaluation systems for WCC competitions

• The latest SCA research and WCC judging regulations

• Evaluation training based on the Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) system

This course is recommended for anyone aspiring to become a WCC judge or seeking an in-depth understanding of the judging system. It is also beneficial for competitors who wish to gain a deeper insight into WCC judging criteria, as well as for any coffee professionals and enthusiasts interested in the WCC. *No conflicts of interest with national competitions apply.

이 프로그램은 향후 WCC 공식 심사위원 인증(WCC Judge Certification)을 준비하는 참가자들에게 필수적인 기초 지식을 제공하며, WCC 대회 심사위원이 되기 위한 체계적인 경로를 제공합니다.

This program is recommended for:

• Competition Body (CB) Judges: Those who want to advance from judging at national competitions to serving on WCC judging panels.

• Competitors: Those aiming to optimize their competition preparation through a comprehensive understanding of judging criteria and scoring methods.

• Coffee Professionals and Enthusiasts: Anyone interested in the competitions.

※ Upon completion of this program, participants will be eligible to participate in competitions (with no conflicts of interest).

This program provides essential foundational knowledge for those preparing for the WCC Judge Certification and offers a systematic pathway toward becoming a WCC judge.

수료 및 인증 Completion and Certification

• 성공적으로 과정을 마친 참가자에게 WCC 및 SCA에서 발행하는 공식 디지털 인증서가 발급됩니다.

• 본 프로그램은 WCC 공식 심사위원 인증을 위한 필수 과정은 아니지만, 이후 심사위원 인증 절차를 준비하는 데 큰 도움이 됩니다.

• Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an official digital certificate issued by both WCC and SCA.

• Although this program is not a mandatory prerequisite for WCC Judge Certification, it will be immensely helpful in preparing for the certification process.

교육 과정 세부 정보 Course Details

1️⃣ 온라인 과정 (월드 커피 챔피언십 개요 - Introduction to WCCs)

• 일정:

  • Session #1: 2025년 3월 29일(토) 오전 10시 ~ 오후 12시

  • Session #2: 4월 5일(토) 오전 10시 ~ 오후 12시

• 형식: 온라인으로 2시간씩 2 세션으로 진행

2️⃣ 대면 과정 (심사 스킬 트레이닝 - Judge Skills Training)

• 일정: 2025년 4월 8일(화) - 4월 9일(수) | 2일 과정

• 시간: 양일 모두 오전 9시 - 오후 6시 (점심 및 휴식시간 포함)

• 장소: 블루포트 2021 | 부산 영도구 봉래나루로 138

※ 유의사항 ※

• 온라인 (모든 세션) & 대면 교육 (양일 참석 필수) 모두 이수 시 공식 인증서 발급

• 별도 필기 시험 없음

1️⃣ Online Course (Introduction to the World Coffee Championships – Overview of WCCs)

• Schedule:

  • Session #1: Saturday, March 29, 2025 – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

  • Session #2: Saturday, April 5, 2025 – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

• Format: Two online sessions, each lasting 2 hours.

2️⃣ In-Person Training (Judge Skills Training)

• Schedule: Tuesday, April 8 – Wednesday, April 9, 2025 (2-day course)

• Time: Both days from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (including lunch and breaks)

• Location: Blueport 2021 | 138 Bongnaenaru-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan, Korea

※ Important Note:

• Completion of both the online sessions and the in-person training (attendance on both days is mandatory) is required to receive the official certificate.

• There is no separate written exam.

This program is taught directly by WCC Representatives (WCC Certified judge).
